Cornbread & Roses

At Cornbread & Roses (CBR), we believe we all have more in common with one another than differences.

CBR was created by a small group of queer and queer-allied community members. First and foremost, we are a space for the LGBTQ+ community of Jackson County to feel safe, accepted, and understood.

In Appalachia, we have always lent a hand to our neighbors in times of need. We believe that breaking cornbread together is the best way to bring awareness, education, and love into our hearts. We welcome all who are allied with our belief of community support and acceptance to our center. We believe that we are all deserving of bread, but roses too!
